Beating a mission again?
Hopefully this hasn't been asked thousands of times, but can I replay a mission to get a better reward? I got Expert on a mission and I want to get Masters to start completing that title, so can I replay it and then it won't count if I get lower than Masters, but if I do, then it will count? Or am I perpetually stuck in my loss of not getting Masters...

Yes, you can go for masters even if you've only gotten standard reward on the first 3,000,000 tries. And yes, when you get masters, it will count towards the title.

Thanks for the help, it was greatly appreciated. Great that I can, but I have to beat one of the hardest missions in the game again (and yes, I've beaten the campaign so I know which missions are hard, this is another char).

Debatable... I would say that even if you start at the turtle thing (the smiting monk), it still presents a problem. To each his own, but I find that to be difficult, especially when noobs try to run it (and usually fail miserably).

Naphui not too bad, just go from 1 of the 2 sides and not the 2 in the middle. And bring an MM hero.

I've heard start with the Kirin, but to be honest, unless you are staring at that map the whole time, you usually just start running around wild looking for the last celestial, because of the sheer number of "ghosts" that spawn around you.
That was probably my most satisfying mission completion in the game. Good times, man. Good times... |

Also, if you already have masters on a mission and you re-run it and fail or only get standard or what ever you still keep Master for that mission.

So perhaps that statement begs the question "then why run it again'?
Gold is the answer, my friend. Goooold. Also, as is the case with the Tahnnakai Temple mission, lotta bosses. Lotta bosses mean lotta better-than-average drops and elite skill caps. |

Should also point out that you won't get rewards again for the ones you have completed. For example, if you have gotten Expert you'd receive both the Expert and Standard rewards. However, when you repeat the mission and gain Masters, you'll only get the Masters reward, without the Expert and Standard as you have already received them.
